KahrabaDián 電كهربا  Is a series of sound and movement experiments that explores fluid ranges of electricity exchange between organisms. Through spirits and material conversation 電’s sounds and equipment merge with كهربا’s movement and architecture into one ecocosm.

Toward the end of 2025, the world is still in chaos, and our focus this time drifted closer to the idea of death. Not death as an ending, but as something constantly present, moving in circles.

Capoeira movements and the pulse of the darbuka intertwine with ritual objects, incense from Taiwanese temples, and choreographic references from Kongo mythology. The body follows patterns it does not fully understand. Steps repeat, turn back, lose direction, then return again.

At some point, intention becomes unstable. The line between rehearsal and ritual starts to blur. We are no longer sure whether the movements are meant to be seen, or simply to be done. Breath, sweat, and rhythm accumulate in the space, and time stops behaving normally.

We gradually realize that we are praying more than we are performing an artistic work. Not praying to ask for something, but praying as a form of staying with what cannot be resolved. The performance remains open, unfinished, circulating, like the world it emerges from.
